Bringing essential resources directly into neighborhoods.

CityTeam in the Neighborhood brings fresh groceries, clothing, hygiene products, and seasonal items directly into neighborhoods where families live and learn. Our trucks bring resources into communities on a reliable schedule, free of charge. Distributions vary per city.

Our mobile pantries offer fresh produce, dry goods, and proteins. These grocery distributions help families living in low-income neighborhoods put food on the table, and make ends meet.

Our pop-up clothing closets allow families to “shop” for new or lightly used clothing, free of cost.

Our special seasonal outreaches help to ease seasonal financial burdens. This includes Thanksgiving turkeys, Christmas toys for children, Easter baskets, and back-to- school supplies.

CTN is committed to building relationships and offering pathways towards lasting solutions, financial stability, and emotional support.

Vital Connections Community Groups

Vital Connections (Connecting with God, Self, Family, & Community) was developed in 2001 by CityTeam in the Neighborhood. Vital Connections is a 6-month program for local women that CityTeam serves. Community groups meet on a regular schedule and allow participants to build community, improve self-esteem, and strengthen family relationships. Group discussion and learning is conducted through a Biblical framework.

As women continue through the program, their identity becomes rooted in the redemptive love of Christ.  This program was specifically designed for un-churched/de-churched women who would be hesitant to attend a Christian church. Spiritual community is brought directly into their neighborhood to minimize any social or physical barriers that might prevent them from engaging with a faith community.

6-Month Program Expected Outcomes:

  • Better self-esteem - Participants identity becomes rooted in Christ’s love
  • Reduction in loneliness - Community and friendships are built
  • Better relationships with family & neighbors
  • Greater sense of Purpose - Women are encouraged to serve others and become the hands and feet of Jesus.
