CityTeam Oakland has given people experiencing homelessness, poverty, hunger and addiction a chance to find help, hope, and a new life since 1956.

CityTeam Oakland provides essential services 365 days a year including hot meals, fresh groceries, safe emergency shelter, and life-saving programs for those in our community lost in addictive behavior and shame. CityTeam Oakland has multiple residential programs serving men, women, and children in need of a helping hand.

Host a Drive

Year round, we need your help with projects that you can organize outside of CityTeam with your friends and family, or at work or church. These projects will greatly help us serve more of our neighbors in need.

Oakland Backpack Drive

Many children who come to CityTeam are living in poverty. Quite often their parents do not earn enough money to pay for school supplies. Our goal is to provide tools that will enable them to be successful!
