Below are a number of ways you can host a drive.

Thanksgiving Drives

Organizing a turkey drive can be simple, easy and fun! You can run a successful turkey drive with minimal time commitment. This drive will help make a difference in the lives of the low income or homeless men, women and children that we will serve this holiday season at CityTeam.

Toy Drive

Make a difference in the life of a child this Christmas! Host a toy drive that will bring joy in the lives of the low-income children and families who CityTeam is serving at our mobile food & clothing programs. The simple gift of a toy will bring hope to children and relieve the stress of those parents who are not able to buy toys for their kids this Holiday season.

Coat Drive

This winter, many will be without the basic resources needed to keep warm and healthy. You can make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate by giving the gift of warmth to someone in need this holiday season. Organize a Coat Drive to reach the people in your city. Invite your family, friends, co-workers and community members to join you to collect new & gently-used coats.

Hygiene Drive

Many of the homeless that come to our doors don’t have the resources or money to purchase hygiene products. Being able to shave, brush their teeth, and get cleaned-up is important for increased self-esteem and also for good health. For many men, women and children – these products are a luxury. Hygiene items include: travel size soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, razor, shaving cream, and deodorant.

A Hygiene Drive is a great way to help someone gain their confidence back and begin the path to a restored life.

Food Drive

We collect canned goods, peanut butter, pasta, rice, and beans all year round to provide groceries to hungry families and individuals. During the holidays, we have an even greater need as we provide holiday food boxes to those struggling with poverty. Organizing a food drive in your community or place of work is really simple, and it is a wonderful blessing to help those in need. Start your own food drive today!

Easter Drive

Easter is the biggest meal of the year at CityTeam! In addition to serving hot and nutritious Easter meals to our guests who are homeless, we also provide food boxes with ham for low-income families to enjoy an Easter meal at home. Will you help us collect food items for this very special holiday?

Backpack Drive

Organizing your backpack drive can be simple, easy and fun! With the provided materials, you can run a Backpack Drive with minimum time commitment. Many children who come to CityTeam are living in poverty. Quite often their parents do not earn enough money to pay for school supplies. Our goal is to provide tools that will enable them to be successful!

Kids Helping Kids

Today, many children are philanthropy minded and want to help other kids in need.  One great area of need during the summer and holiday months is kid friendly food drives.  Low-Income kids dread their vacations when they don’t have school breakfasts and lunches. Usually in low-income families, the parents are working and the kids are home. Hunger never takes a vacation. Our goal is to equip these kids with Kid Approved items that they can safely eat and enjoy.

We have put together a shopping list that will help your kids know what type of food items we need the most for our food boxes or food pantry program. The most requested items are Mac & Cheese and different kinds of cereal.
