Thanks to the support of our community, we’ve been able to serve more at-risk women and children than even before at Grace Village.
We look forward to shifting our focus to the next project to enhance Grace Village—bringing the Community Center to life.

“I was on the streets with my 3 kids. CityTeam is my backbone. I am here because of them.”

Children's Center

The Daycare Center provides a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for pre-school children as their mothers engage in the supportive services that enable lasting solutions. We focus on building strong foundations with education, socialization, and healthy activities that develop each child’s skills and ability to thrive.

After School Program Center

The afterschool program empowers school-aged youth to excel academically, engage in positive peer and adult relationships, and grow spiritually in a fun, interactive setting.  Volunteers provide tutoring and mentoring support to help each youth discover their passions and overcome academic and social barriers.

CityTeam @ Work Center

The CityTeam @ Work Center creates education and job individualized placement plans that provide pathways to economic vitality by helping our students obtain living wage employment that leads to housing stability.  Staff and volunteers case manage, tutor, teach, and guide each woman in achieving her goals for a stable future.

Indoor/Outdoor Event Space

Indoor space that spills out into versatile outdoor space enables a wide variety of meeting options for our life skill classes, community meetings, social events, and chapel services.  Building healthy relationships in group meetings brings stability to our women and children and gives them a sense of belonging.

The Rooftop Terrace

The rooftop terrace is a respite space for the community to enjoy quiet outdoor space for reflective, personal care as they pursue health and wholeness.  Beautiful and peaceful spaces are essential for restoring mental, emotional, and spiritual health; a place to breathe and relax.

Kayla's Grace Village Story

When Kayla found refuge at Grace Village, she found an environment where she could “break the cycle” of generational trauma, instability, and domestic abuse. The weight of impending  homelessness was lifted off her children’s shoulders.

During her stay, she earned her CNA license and recieved individualized counseling. She and her children have transitioned out of Grace Village into stable housing.

Faviola Speaks to the Heart of CityTeam

Faviola used to live a life of constant fear, substance abuse, and homelessness– all with her 3 young children by her side. She credits her life to CityTeam and considers it the “backbone” of her new beginning.

Faviola found food, shelter, and powerful healing through our women’s programs. Shes prays for the same healing for other women in her shoes through the expansion of Grace Village services.
