Family Services is empowering families to improve the quality of their lives. This begins by helping families who lack basic resources.

We distribute food, clothing, furniture, appliances, household goods and beds to thousands of families in Silicon Valley. Each family is also offered guidance and weekly support in order to help them make the necessary changes in their lives. We obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 16-20) by empowering those who are interested to learn more about God and His plans for their lives by discovering Him through the Bible with their family and friends. Our prayer is that these discovery Bible studies will multiply and lead to the establishment of thousands of communities of believers with a passion to help others, like Jesus did, to transform communities throughout the world.

Services Offered Include:

  • Emergency Assistance
Priority assistance is offered to families in crisis. This assistance includes food, select furniture items, bedding and clothing.
  • Neighborhood Events
Essential items are taken into neighborhoods where the need is the greatest. In addition to food, items such as shoe vouchers, school supplies, hygiene products, toys, warm coats and blankets are distributed. See the downloadable events calendar at the top of the page for more information.
  • Volunteer Opportunities
We provide opportunities for those who would like to serve and help bring life-saving resources to the needy. Please visit our Volunteer Page for a list of opportunities and how to get involved.
  • Discovery Bible Studies
When we serve families, we are looking to identify those who are interested in learning more about God and His plans for their lives. We empower them to discover God through the Bible with their family and friends in a discovery Bible study held in their own home.
  • Vital Connections
Weekly small groups for women - offering assistance with food, clothing and household items, support and training in life skills and personal recovery. Childcare is also provided.
  • Gospel Planting Training & Mentoring
For volunteers who want to spread the Good News among the un-churched we offer training and provide opportunities to apply the training by identifying receptive persons, initiating discovery Bible studies and mentoring the leaders of these communities of believers.
