are located on Sixth Street--one of the most densely
homeless populated streets in SF. The San
Francisco Examiner has published 2 articles on the
front page of the paper this year, Police: Criminals
control Sixth St-- Suspected Organized Crime, and
Open-air asylum--Advocates say homeless need help.
Around that time, one of our homeless client's son
was murdered in front of the mission at 8am and a
police woman was attacked only 2 blocks away. We want
to be the bright spot in this dark place to bring
hope and recovery to the homeless.
Please pray for the people who come through our doors
seeking basic necessities such as food and shelter,
and also for the people who come to CityTeam wanting
to change their lives and seek God's hope for their
future.
Also, please pray for our needs as a ministry —
that we would have enough food to distribute and provide
hot meals for families in need and that we would have
enough financial support to keep all of our programs
in operation during the holiday season.
