Agreements

All of us are being transformed into the likeness of Christ and we are at different places in the journey. A safe, healthy environment is important to help us as we grow in our maturity. Therefore we are asking you to agree to the following statements.

Summer Staff Community Standards Agreement

Consider How I Will Use My Time-off.

I will choose activities that will refresh me physically, mentally, emotionally, and Spiritually.

Commit to Healthy Interpersonal Relationships.
Acknowledging our campers are very sexually aware, I will serve the campers and staff by modeling "non-aggressive" physical affection. I will refrain from spending time alone with one person, when it takes me away from my focus on the campers and other staff. I will refrain from starting a "romantic" relationship during the summer.

Commit to Peer Accountability.
I want every person to grow closer to God and I acknowledge that my sin keeps me from Him and causes others to stumble. Therefore, within the context of a safe environment, I will accept being held accountable and endeavor to hold others accountable in a loving and truthful manner.

Commit to Look Out for the Interests of Others Before Myself.
A safe healthy community is dependent on the principle found in Philippians 2:4 "Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interest of others."

Commit to Participate in Creating a Safe, Healthy Environment for the Campers and Staff.
A safe, healthy environment is one of the critical elements for internal transformation to take place.

Camp MayMac Statement of Faith

• the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

• that there is one God eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

• that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

• in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

• in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

• in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
